The temperature had drop down to 57 degrees, when my neighbors wife asked if he could go fishing with me. I hadn't thought about it, but since I love it so much, why not. We got the boat and headed to the lake. I told him that I felt really good and that I was going to make him look bad during our expedition. We got on the water and just like clock-work I caught a fish on my first cast. It was small so I didn't brag to much, but I knew I was going to have a good day. A few cast later I landed a 4 and a half pounder, then a 3, and another 3 pounder. He looked puzzled and a little upset and asked me what I was doing. I smiled and continued to fish knowing that there was know way he could catch me. It rained off and on, but the fish kept biting,(for me at least). We we finished I had out fished him, 8 fish to 2.

Through The Rain
Here in Washington, the average angler knows what it is like to fish in the rain. I really dont enjoy it to much, but I do love to fish and since I live here there arent a lot of options. You can always tell a dedicated fisherman because he or she will fish in all kinds of conditions to improve their skills. Tournaments arent always conducted when the weather is good, so dont be afraid to get on the water as the water gets on you...
